Yes, we provide locks allowing you to take a break from your Onewheel if you need to. Please be sure to take notice where you leave your Onewheel locked up. These are expensive pieces of equipment and can easily be stolen. Please be careful where you decide to leave them. You are fully responsible for this piece of equipment if it gets stolen.
There is an app that you can easily download and sync to your board. This app is extremely useful and will give details showing how fast you're going, how far you've been, and how much battery is left.
The app also allows you to use different modes when riding your board. When you pick up your board we will explain each mode and help you find the one you are most comfortable with. Explore different modes throughout the day and see which one you like best.
To safely dismount your Onewheel, always slow to a stop and then remove your foot from the rider detect area. To remove your foot from the rider detect area, some good options include:
1. Go on your tip-toe, lifting your heel off the back half of the footpad.
2. Jump off with both feet! Nothing wrong with this, but always remove both feet at the same time.
